This shop is actually a chain. I've eaten at the Ueno-shop as well. I really like their ramens, as they have different flavors than you often find at other shops. It's more of a modern style ramen.

I ate the kogashi tan-tan men that can be seen in the shop picture. It's made with a black vinegar, which gives it a bit of a tang that I find delicious!

This shop also offers a choice of one of four sides, that are free with each bowl of ramen. I can't remember what they all were, but I had the anin dofu (杏仁豆腐) which was decent enough. I think there was rice and.. I don't remember what else.

About Ramen

Ramen (ラーメン rāmen) is a Japanese noodle soup dish. It consists of Chinese-style wheat noodles served in a meat or fish-based broth, often flavored with soy sauce or miso, and uses toppings such as sliced pork, dried seaweed , kamaboko, and green onions. Nearly every region in Japan has its own variation of ramen, from the tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen of Kyushu to the miso ramen of Hokkaido.
